Your first reaction to Capital One Cafe is probably "wait, a bank serving coffee?" Yeah, that's what everyone thinks. But here is why it actually works. They partnered with Verve Coffee Roasters (a serious specialty roaster) and they are not treating this like an afterthought. The pour-over bar features rotating single origin selections like Costa Rica Esperanza & Ethiopia Guji Highlands so they're genuinely committed to coffee craft.
This is honestly one of those spots where every time I am in the area, I make it a point to stop by. The space itself is perfect if you're working or meeting friends. Lots of seating and plenty of outlets (which honestly is rarer than it should be at coffee shops). Free WiFi that actually works and the environment feels more like a coworking lounge than a bank. Two private meeting pods are available to reserve via the Capital One app if you need quiet focus time or to take calls. It is clean, not packed and genuinely comfortable.
Drink wise, order the white mocha or the hibiscus iced tea shaker. Their seasonal menu rotates and actually feels thoughtful. The avocado toast is excellent and is arguably some of the best in Scottsdale. They also have pastries and light food options to keep you satisfied while you work or hang out.
The biggest perk is that Capital One cardholders get half price off drinks! You're looking at cappuccinos for basically nothing. They also occasionally throw free swag at the cafe. If you are not a cardholder, the drinks are priced normally but still solid quality for what you're getting.
Location note: It's inside Scottsdale Fashion Square near the Apple store with ample parking. Here's the good part though, there is a direct door to the outside, so you don't have to walk through the mall if you don't want to. The nearest restrooms are by Harkins theater upstairs, which is a minor walk. The cafe itself will not win any awards for Instagram aesthetics, but thats actually fine. It means the focus is on functionality and comfort, not looking pretty for photos.
Quality specialty coffee, free WiFi, and half-price drinks for cardholders. That's the Capital One Cafe equation.

Tempe is exceptionally lucky to host Shaghf Cafe. It is one of the few U.S. locations for this renowned worldwide company. Step into a world of cozy Middle Eastern charm where the passion for craft is evident in every detail. The name itself reveals the cafe's core philosophy. The Arabic word "Shaghf" means "passion" or "passionate love". This concept highlights a deep heartfelt enthusiasm and devotion which directly mirrors Shaghf's approach to coffee and hospitality. This passion translates into authentic and unique recipes. Shaghf Cafe specializes in Arab-inspired specialty coffee. Their signature Pistachio Frappe is a standout creation. The menu also features creative lattes, authentic Turkish coffee, and Arabic qahwa traditionally served with cardamom and ginger. It is a true destination for the coffee connoisseur. The cafe boasts a full slow bar with advanced brewing methods like Chemex and V60 (a rarity these days). Sip Coffee and Beer in Old Town Scottsdale is that rare place where a single room can hold laptops, first dates, and live music without feeling confused. The space feels like a cozy living room. Warm wood, bar tops, and just enough buzz from Goldwater Boulevard outside to remind you that you are in the middle of things.
I like it best in the morning when the line is a mix of regulars and visitors trying to decode the menu. The coffee program is legit. You can keep it simple with a strong drip or lean into signature drinks like the Bananas Foster Latte. The Lion's mane latte is excellent too if you're into the mushroom stuff.
I also heard good things about the iced coconut matcha latte from people whose coffee opinions I trust and go to Sip more than I do. I have not tried it yet. Maybe next time.
Food is not an afterthought here. Breakfast burritos, avocado toast and sandwiches land in that sweet spot where you can camp with your laptop for hours and not regret what you ordered. When the weather cooperates, the patio out front is a genuinely nice option. Good people watching territory with that Goldwater energy right there.
As the day stretches, the bar quietly takes over. Taps kick in, cocktails start showing up, and by the time a band sets up in the corner, the room tilts from coffee shop to neighborhood bar without losing its chill.
Sip just works... Morning, afternoon, or evening. The place finds a way to fit whatever you need from it. That is harder to pull off than it looks.

Coffee Rush Chandler offers lakeside views and oversized drinks open until 11PM. This flagship location combines waterfront patio seating with indulgent Frosts and flavored lattes in a relaxed atmosphere perfect for studying or unwinding.
The moment you step inside, those big windows pull your eyes straight to the water. The patio spreads wide along the lake and suddenly you forget you are in a strip mall. Inside feels open and easy. People camp out with laptops. Others chat over massive drinks. Some just stare at the water and decompress.
The Coffee Rush menu goes all in on comfort and size. Giant Frosts arrive in flavors like mint mocha, black and white, and various caramel situations. You can also grab dirty chai, flavored lattes, and strong iced coffees when Phoenix heat demands it. This is not the place for purist espresso culture. This is "I want 32 ounces of sweet caffeinated happiness and a chair facing the lake." Service moves quickly and the staff knows most faces by now.
If you want the full Coffee Rush experience, start here. The view alone makes it worth the trip. Then you stay because the drinks hit right and the vibe works. Watch the patio fill up with people who clearly had the same plan. The fact that they stay open until 11PM every night makes this even better. Sip Coffee and Beer Garage in Phoenix feels like someone turned a service bay into a hangout and then never stopped adding reasons to stay. It is open and a little industrial but somehow still comfortable enough to disappear into your laptop for hours.
By day it is a full on coffee shop. And they are serious about it. Two La Marzocco Lineas sit behind the barista counter. Not one. Two! Maybe they needed the volume. Maybe they just really like La Marzocco. Either way, two is better than one.
Custom blends, espresso drinks and a steady stream of breakfast burritos and sandwiches keep the place humming. The drive thru adds that very Phoenix convenience so you can grab an Breakfast Burrito and a latte without leaving the car. Then circle back later to actually sit and hang out.
The patio here is genuinely beautiful. Shaded and comfortable with that Arcadia energy around you. Dog friendly too. The kind of outdoor space where you sit down for a quick coffee and look up an hour later wondering where the time went.
As evening hits, things get interesting. There is a whole cocktail lounge hiding under the cafe.
The playlists stay loud enough to feel alive but not chaotic. For a one stop Arcadia spot that covers coffee, work time and a proper night out, this place does the job without breaking a sweat.
