Prepare to be obsessed with what I think is the best bakery in Tucson. Seriously, this place is the real deal... a true passion project where quality is everything. It is a tiny charming spot where you can sit at the counter and watch the mother-daughter team work their magic in the open kitchen. The stars here are the incredible pastries and artisan breads. You croissants! The lamination is just perfect. But what really sets them apart is their sourdough program. They have a specific bread schedule with sourdough loaves and focaccia available on certain days. It is absolutely worth planning your visit around! The coffee is just as thoughtfully prepared with shots pulled on the legendary La Marzocco Linea and enhanced with house made syrups like cardamom or honey lavender. Ugh, you just need to get there early because they sell out fast for a reason. This is a must visit!

Bar Crisol Exo sits in Tucson's historic Barrio Viejo as a beautiful extension of Exo's coffee mission and the founders' deep connection to Mexico. Housed in a converted bungalow, this cafe feels less like a business and more like stepping into the warm and stylish home of a friend.

This is not a coffee shop. Adventure Coffee Roasting is a roaster only with no public cafe. However, they are included in this directory as an great source for quality coffee beans to take home.
Find organic and locally roasted coffee from Adventure Coffee Roasting, a second-generation family-run business in Tucson. Their story began in 1982 when a single exceptional cup of coffee in Quebec sparked a decades long passion. The journey evolved from roasting beans in a popcorn popper to professional training and eventually selling at local farmers markets. In 2007, they established their first roastery and later expanding to their current facility with two Diedrich roasters to meet growing demand.
Today, the business continues its mission of quality and sustainability. Their coffee can be found at local farmers markets and retail partners throughout Tucson. Please note that the Espresso Roast is known for being very dark which may present a challenge for some brewing setups and taste preference.

If you are looking for a fantastic local coffee shop on Tucson's Eastside, you have to check out Brew Station Coffee Co. Seriously, this place is such a hidden gem. The owner Gabe, is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet and he has created a space that is so much more than just a cafe. It is like a mini art gallery filled with amazing murals, hand-painted tables, and rotating art from local Tucson artists. You can tell he is passionate about supporting the community.
The coffee is just as impressive. I love that they have a proper pour-over option which is a great sign they care about craft coffee. The baristas pull consistently great shots on their Nuova Simonelli, a true competition-grade workhorse of a machine. The whole vibe is just super chill and welcoming with lots of natural light and plenty of power outlets if you need to get some work done. Just so you know...this is a spot that gets everything right.

What happens when you combine a beloved vegan coffee truck with a permanent home? You get EspresSoul Cafe, one of the most unique and soul warming spots in Tucson. This woman-owned cafe is a masterclass in creativity, blending Persian inspired charm with a modern boho aesthetic. I love their hybrid approach. They built a loyal following with their vibrant yellow truck and now offer a cozy permanent community hub without losing their mobile roots. The menu is just incredible and vegan by default. I am obsessed with "The Baklava" latte. It's a life-changing drink that perfectly captures the essence of the classic dessert. You also have to try the baklava pastry which is made fresh by the owner's mother. They pull shots on a beautiful three-group Ascaso espresso machine and the baristas are genuinely passionate about crafting the perfect drink for you. The whole place is a labor of love and you can feel it the second you walk in. Go visit them you will leave with a full cup and a happy soul.

Step into a true coffee lovers workshop at Savaya Coffee's Williams Centre location. I mean it, the first thing you see is their gleaming bright green Ambex roaster, a testament to their dedication to freshness and in-house craft. But your eyes will quickly be drawn to the impressive Kyoto-style slow drip towers. It is fascinating to watch these brewers work, patiently crafting a smooth and rich brew concentrate drop by drop over many hours.
The baristas here are clearly masters of their trade, pulling shots on a top-of-the-line Wega Concept espresso machine. If you prefer a cleaner and brighter cup, you have to try one of their pour-overs, which highlights the delicate nuances of their single-origin beans. This place is not just a cafe it is an immersive experience in the art of coffee. For anyone who appreciates the details of a perfect brew, this is a must visit destination.

Explore a world of exceptional coffee at Savaya Coffee Market's Synergy Plaza location in Tucson. I love how this place is a true roastery where you are surrounded by the craft of coffee from bean to cup. You will be captivated by the large beautiful mural depicting Native American life that adorns the main wall adding a unique and serene ambiance to the space. The baristas are total pros working their magic on a high-end Victoria Arduino espresso machine which is a clear sign of commitment to quality.
What I think is really special is their dedication to manual brewing methods. I was not brave enought to try it (plus I had way too much caffeine that day) but you have to ask them about their siphon brewer. It is a theatrical, full-immersion process using vacuum and vapor pressure that results in a wonderfully clean and aromatic cup. They also offer pour-overs using a Chemex, which uses a thick paper filter to create an exceptionally bright and pure brew that highlights the coffee's most delicate notes. With a fantastic loose-leaf tea selection and a lovely patio for enjoying the Arizona weather, this is a top-tier spot for any coffee lover.

Have you ever had a latte made with gelato? Just for that, you have to check out Haute Coffee. Located in Tucson's upscale La Encantada shopping center. The moment I walked in, the design just blew me away. The wavy and layered ceiling panels totally reminded me of the stunning architecture at Press Coffee at Raintree in Scottsdale. It's a seriously beautiful & modern space. The baristas are working on a gorgeous red La Marzocco KB90, which is like the Ferrari of espresso machines.
Their big claim to fame is that their flavored lattes are made using gelato from Frost, the shop right next door owned by the same person. It is a really unique idea and creates a super creamy, sweet drink unlike anything else. Just so you know, the seating is very limited, making it more of a grab-and-go spot while you are shopping. It's an interesting concept but the experience can be a bit of a mixed bag.

What if your daily coffee could connect you to the very birthplace of coffee itself? At Zedamo Coffee & Tea, it does. Discover one of Tucson's best new coffee shops, an amazing spot with a rich Ethiopian cultural influence. This isn't just another cafe. It's a calm, airy, and beautifully designed space that invites you to relax. The walls feature stunning art, and thoughtful touches like cushions on the chairs make it extra comfortable. I love that it is part of Z-Street, a collaboration that includes Zemam's Ethiopian Cuisine Tucson's first African restaurant. They serve locally roasted coffee from the renowned Savaya Coffee Market and the expert barista crafts some of the best espresso I have had all year. Shots are pulled on a high-quality Nuova Simonelli machine. The iced cardamom latte is a standout and the americano is incredibly smooth. The whole experience feels intentional and elevated. This is a real winner and a place you need to visit.
