Steep Leaf Lounge

If you want a break from the standard espresso grind you need to visit Steep Leaf Lounge in downtown Flagstaff. Okay listen. Don't give me a hard time or complain for including a tea lounge on a coffee shop website. I felt compelled to include it because the vibe here is unmatched. I am also a tea lover and drink Darjeeling or Oolong tea almost daily. Anyway, back to Steep Leaf Lounge, they do offer a latte option and cold brew if you absolutely need your coffee fix but honestly you are here for the tea.
They have a massive wall of high end loose leaf teas that you can smell before you buy. If you love tea as much as you love coffee this is a great place to be. You have to try the Masala Chai or the Lavender Mint Matcha. Some people claim they are the best they have ever had and I do agree. I personally love the seating options like the charming window seats for people-watching or the raised wooden platform with floor cushions for a full zen experience. The pastries are made in-house and you should definitely grab a Blackberry Danish or a Croissant. Bottom line is that you go there for the tea, desserts, and food before the coffee.
