Paris Baguette

Paris Baguette in Chandler is not a third wave coffee shop. There is no single origin rotating menu, no Nordic style light roast pour overs and no barista monologue about terroir. I want to be upfront about that because this is primarily a craft coffee site. Normally a place like this would not make the cut here. But I felt compelled to add Paris Baguette because the desserts and pastries are genuinely spectacular and honestly the coffee is good enough to deserve a mention too.

The Chandler location sits in the Chandler Fashion Center area and the space feels like a little piece of Europe dropped into an Arizona strip. Stylish, spacious and chill. The kind of place where you sit down and immediately stop rushing.

The coffee program runs on the Italian roaster Lavazza. This means you are getting a darker traditional espresso profile with chocolate and nut notes and low acidity. It is smooth and mainstream designed to pair beautifully with something sweet. Which brings us to the real reason to be here.

The pastries are dangerous. The fruit and custard options are the standout for me. Rich & fresh and the kind of thing you tell yourself you will only have one of. The croissants are excellent. The sweet buns are excellent. Everything in that case is excellent and you will have a hard time picking just one thing. That is a warning.

The milk based espresso drinks (lattes, cappuccinos, mochas and their iced versions) are well made with good foam and texture. This is a corporate bakery cafe operation so the drinks are built for consistency and accessibility rather than experimental brewing. That is perfectly fine. A well pulled caramel latte next to a fruit custard pastry in a room that feels this nice? That is a very good afternoon.

The staff is friendly and the vibe is relaxed with tons of seating available. You can easily spend an hour here without noticing.

Paris Baguette will not replace your favorite specialty roaster. It is not trying to. What it offers is a reliable & enjoyable cafe experience anchored by some of the best pastries you will find in Chandler. The coffee earns its place on the table. The pastries steal the show. Come hungry.
