Kickstand Kafe has been Flagstaff's living room since 2009 just north of the historic downtown district. Its a simple mission: keep it local, keep it creative and keep it welcoming. The name comes from the bicycle part (a symbol of balance and a place to rest).
The building sits on the route out of town toward the Grand Canyon and Arizona Snowbowl, and the shop leans into that. It is a coffee shop, a breakfast joint and (since the Kocktail menu arrived) a cocktail bar all at once.
A massive interior with a fireplace, couches and a large patio. There is a drive-thru for skiers and commuters, board games and puzzles for the campers and occasional live music.
Illy coffee anchors the espresso bar and Single Speed Coffee (roasted in Flagstaff) covers the drip and cold brew. The house brewed drip blends the two with a shot of espresso. Signature drinks include the Snowbunny (coconut and dark chocolate mocha), the Endo (frosted mint mocha) and the Cortado Elite (two Cubano shots cut with breve).
