El Cafezito

El Cafezito is a Latin inspired coffee and crepes cafe tucked into a strip mall in west Phoenix. It sits at 7540 W Indian School Road in the Maryvale Village area, and it has earned a devoted following of regulars. The shop is women-owned and Latinx-operated and it pairs a full crepe menu with a coffee program built around Latin flavors.

The space is a small hole-in-the-wall with murals on the walls and live music on some days. The staff speak both English and Spanish and the place is roomy for a spot this size. There is outdoor seating and a free parking lot out front. El Cafezito also has a second location in Mesa.

The Vibe

The Coffee Program

• A menu built around Latin-inspired lattes including Mazapan, Horchata and Cookie Butter
• Drip coffee, cold brew, and blended frappes
• Espresso-based drinks with a range of flavor options

• Sweet options like Nutella, Mazapan and Berries
• Savory options like Machaca, Chilorio, Ham and Cheese, and Spinach
• Both full size and miniature sizes
• Fresas con Crema on the side
