Tucked inside the walkable and shady Tempe Business Center, Jasmine Jo Coffee & Flowers blends two worlds.... Fresh coffee and fresh blooms. The smell of espresso mixes with the scent of roses. It hits you the moment you walk in. Parking out front can be tricky during busy hours. But it is usually easier to find a good spot on the west side of the building which as a bonus leads right into a gorgeous back patio that feels like a secret garden. Big trees. Plenty of tables. Shade everywhere. It’s one of the nicest patios in Tempe in my humble opinion. Space inside can feel tight when busy but it is full of charm. The ambience feels cozy and European. It is the kind of spot where you can sip a drink and watch the world move slow. I’ve recently tried their Dirty Daisy which is a floral twist on coffee that’s smooth and enjoyable. On my last visit though, I ordered a latte with whole milk but got 2% or skim. Not ideal, but still good. Jasmine Jo usually pull espresso from single origin beans roasted by Matador Coffee Roasting Co. up in Flagstaff. That gives the drinks here a bright and clean taste. They used to have a slow bar for pour-overs back in the days when I came to Tempe more often and it made this place feel extra special. Sadly, that’s gone now. Manual brewing takes time and baristas have to keep orders moving fast. If you order an espresso-based drink, you're still in for a treat as it will be crafted on their beautiful Italian made Nuova Simonelli Appia II. Jasmine Jo also have a second shop in Ahwatukee Foothills. That one is more spacious but this Tempe location stays busier. It has more heart, more character, and a loyal crowd. If you love coffee and flowers, you will like this spot. It feels like a little escape in the middle of Tempe.

I love how this place is a true roastery where you are surrounded by the craft of coffee from bean to cup. The baristas are total pros working their magic on a high-end Victoria Arduino espresso machine which is a clear sign of commitment to quality.
What I think is really special is their dedication to manual brewing methods. I was not brave enought to try it (plus I had way too much caffeine that day) but you have to ask them about their siphon brewer. It is a theatrical, full-immersion process using vacuum and vapor pressure that results in a wonderfully clean and aromatic cup. They also offer pour-overs using a Chemex, which uses a thick paper filter to create an exceptionally bright and pure brew that highlights the coffee's most delicate notes. With a fantastic loose-leaf tea selection and a lovely patio for enjoying the Arizona weather, this is a top-tier spot for any coffee lover.

They serve locally roasted coffee from the renowned Savaya Coffee Market and the expert barista crafts some of the best espresso I have had all year. Shots are pulled on a high-quality Nuova Simonelli machine. The iced cardamom latte is a standout and the americano is incredibly smooth. The whole experience feels intentional and elevated. Do you believe a coffee shop can have a soul? I do now. Blessed Grounds in Tucson is a true gem for anyone who believes coffee can be both an art and a force for good. This is a place with a clear purpose. They are a veteran owned coffee roaster that is deeply passionate about its mission. They source their beans through direct trade to support farming communities and roast everything in-house on a beautiful Ozturkbay roaster. You can absolutely taste the care and quality in every single cup. I ordered their Ethiopia pour-over and it was incredible. The tasting notes of bright blueberry and creamy coconut came screaming out of the cup with every sip. It was one of those coffee moments you remember. My wife got their famous Chai Latte and I have to admit I stole more than a few sips when she wasn't looking. It was awesome. Perfectly spiced and not too sweet with amazing warm kick of cinnamon and cardamom. Forget those sugary syrup bombs this was the real deal.
The staff is just as impressive as the coffee. They are excited to share their story and pull amazing shots on their high end Sanremo espresso machine. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming and peaceful. This is more than just a coffee shop it is an experience.

It’s all outdoors and you can grab a table in these semi-private nooks created by the massive container doors. Just so you know, there's no indoor seating here so it's all about enjoying that Tucson weather. The coffee is just as amazing as their Broadway location with fantastic espresso and a chai that has the perfect amount of spice. It's the heart of the Annex and a perfect stop for anyone exploring the area. You have to check it out.

Ugh, I might have to rewrite my entire list of top Arizona coffee shops because this place is a must-visit. The moment you walk in, lush plants hang overhead and the mid-century vibe hits you immediately. It's immaculate. The staff is welcoming and genuinely kind. They roast their own beans on a Diedrich roaster using high-quality sourced specialty coffee, and you can taste the difference in every single sip. The quality isn't an accident. Now, their Mavam under-counter espresso machine is a piece of art. This is the kind of equipment that signals serious dedication to craft. The baristas pull incredible shots. Their Cafe de Olla is a fantastic take on a Mexican classic, executed with precision. The specialty beans they use, like Sangre Negra, Monolith, Sharp End Blend, and single-origins like Ethiopia Yirgacheffe and Panama Boquete, are the same ones you can buy on their website if you want to brew at home. But here's where it gets interesting: their in-house baker, Nikki, creates vegan scones and homemade ice cream that pair perfectly with the coffee. One thing missing? A pour-over slow bar. If Decibel ever adds one, I might sell my Phoenix house and move to Tucson. Just saying. You will not be disappointed.
