Looking for the best organic menu in Scottsdale? Firefly Organic Coffee & Market is a hidden gem at Pima Center. See the menu, photos, and secret pantry finds here. This is the spot I wish existed five years ago when I started caring more about ingredients. It sits right off the 101 at Pima Center and it feels like a small organic coffee bar that collided with a health-focused pantry in the best possible way.
The coffee program is built around organic milk drinks. That is the promise here. You get the standard espresso menu. Espresso, americanos, cappuccinos and lattes. The difference is that they are built with organic ingredients where possible and the menu is small enough that it does not feel gimmicky. If you are the type of person who usually has to compromise on milk quality to get a good shot, Firefly feels very refreshing. I would not come here to chase the most experimental pour over in Scottsdale. I would come here because I want a clean straightforward latte that fits how I already try to eat.
The market side is what makes Firefly unique for a Phoenix area coffee nerd. On my first visit I grabbed a latte and then realized I could also stock up on raw milk for home plus a dozen eggs and some local honey. It is not a full grocery store. Inventory is tight and focused. You see raw cow milk in glass bottles, cartons of eggs, packages of grass fed beef from Arizona producers and jars of creamed or local raw honey. For a lot of people this will be the place where coffee stop and grocery run overlap for the first time.
The backstory lines up with what you see on the shelves. Firefly is run by Patrick and Ashley, and Ashley is also known for her work with Jigsaw Health (a supplement company with a big focus on wellness). That overlap explains a lot. The product mix looks like it was chosen by someone who actually uses it. There is a strong health culture thread here but it does not feel preachy. It just feels like they built a shop around how they already live.
Location matters here too. This is not an Old Town Scottsdale stroll in your flip flops spot. Firefly lives in a business complex at Pima Center right off the freeway. Perfect stop if you are already on the 101 and want to pop off for coffee and a few staples. From a use case angle, it is “coffee plus errands” more than “coffee plus laptop until closing.”
One of the quirkiest details is that Firefly can host small private events and there is even a so called magic door that connects into The Orchard Indoor Pickleball Club next door. It is very Scottsdale in the most charming way. You could play pickleball with friends then slip into a quiet, bright space for lattes and snacks without ever stepping outside. That connection makes Firefly feel like part of a little micro community in the building instead of a random one off tenant.
If you are used to bigger local chains like Press Coffee or global names like Starbucks, Firefly will feel narrower in focus and more opinionated. Smaller menu. Limited hours. One location in a business park. For some people that will be a downside. For others, especially anyone trying to keep their food and drink on the cleaner side, that is exactly the appeal.
Firefly Organic Coffee & Market is one of the most distinctive new coffee stops in Scottsdale if you care about organic milk, raw dairy and what goes into your groceries. If you want late night hours and endless flavored drinks, you have better options elsewhere. If you want a large comfortable room, a well made organic latte and the ability to walk out with raw milk and real pantry staples in the same trip then Firefly is absolutely worth a visit.
